Yes, it’s possible! All it takes is 10 minutes to get rid of your stress, anxiety and insomnia.
You may be a bit sceptical at first, but you will be quickly convinced, as these acupressure techniques are proven to be very efficient and have been used for thousands of years.
Based on Chinese medicine, acupressure points are located on meridians of the body.
By regularly applying pressure on these specific points, you will find balance, tranquillity, energy and wellbeing.
You don’t need to be an expert to learn how to use them. Just take a moment to locate each point and you’re set to go.
It’s so easy that after a while it becomes a routine without even noticing you’re doing it.
Wherever you are or whenever you can, simply apply pressure on each point and you will instantly feel better.
If you have difficulties falling asleep, these points will calm your mind and relax your body.
By applying acupressure regularly, it becomes more efficient and your body reacts more quickly.
Make sure you are in a quite environment with no disturbance.
Switch off your phone. Sit straight on a chair or in a lotus position on the floor.
Close your eyes and breathe slowly.
Apply light to medium pressure on each point for about 1 to 2 minutes.
Repeat several times a day if you feel like it.
1-Solar plexus point
With your right hand, place your index, middle and ring fingers on the hollow at the top of your stomach between your ribs, right under the sternum.
Create some pressure and make small clockwise circles.
2-Chest centre point
Draw an imaginary line from your nipples to the sternum.
The point lies right in the middle of the sternum.
Press and make small circular movements.
3-The third-eye point
This point is located directly between your eyebrows, in the bend where the bridge of the nose meets the forehead.
Place your right middle finger between your eyebrows and press.
4-Union valley point
You find this point in the webbing between your thumb and index finger, right where the bones meet.
You have found the right spot if it’s slightly uncomfortable.
With the thumb of your other hand, make small circular movements and press.
Repeat on the other hand.
5-Inner frontier gate point
You can find this point on the inside of your arm, about three finger widths below your wrist, in the hollow between the tendons.
With the thumb of your other hand, press firmly.
Repeat on the other arm.
6-The great surge pressure point
This point lies on your foot, about three finger widths below the intersection of your big toe and second toe, in the hollow just above the bone.
You’re on the right point when it’s sensitive.
Press slowly. Repeat on the other foot.
